Mt. Morris, IL, is a village with a rich history that generations have called home for its standard of living, small town values, and strong sense of community. Who would have guessed that Mt. Morris is also a great destination for summer festivals, concerts, and fine arts?

Our campaign strategy:

  • Facilitate a complete rebrand and positioning
  • Design and manage a compelling new website
  • Plan and manage organic social media
  • Plan and execute a tourism campaign across Northern Illinois, reaching our target audiences (a demographic virtually identical to RFD’s) throughout

Mt. Morris’ draw area via multiple touchpoints, including:

  • Digital display ads: 683 CTRs
  • Streaming video: 235,000 impressions
  • Social Media (paid and organic Facebook & Instagram): 3,625 CTRs from paid Social; 9,000 visitors to the new website via organic Social.
  • Broadcast TV and radio: 80 radio spots/month; 40 rotators broadcast TV/month.
  • Media Relations: Live radio remotes; broadcast network news stories.

End result? Thousands of new visitors discover Mt. Morris, summer 2024; tourism numbers go up 9% year over year; 2025—more of the same!
